Abdi Raissi, M.D. graduated from Northwestern University with a Computer Science degree and went on to receive his M.D. from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis (1995). He completed his orthopaedic surgical residency at Ohio State University. Dr. Raissi then went on to receive his advanced fellowship in orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery in Columbus, Ohio. In the fall of 2002, Dr. Raissi attended a traveling fellowship in foot and ankle surgery in Switzerland. Dr. Raissi has presented original research on arthroscopic treatment of athletic ankle injuries at national and international conferences. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society. Dr. Raissi's world wide experience allows him a unique approach to simple and complex disorders of the foot and ankle. Dr. Raissi treats all conditions of the foot and ankle including bunions, arthritis, trauma, sports injuries, and complications of diabetes.
